The project comprises the building of a new grammar school with associated playing fields on a Greenfield site on the outskirts of Newry. 

The school is designed for 875 boys and over 100 staff. The building extends to approximately 11,800sqm over three floors with a variety of teaching accommodation together with extensive sports facilities which include provision for a full sized basketball court in the Sports Hall, a Gymnasium, a Multi–Use Hall, a Fitness Suite, Strength and Conditioning Suite, Sports Classroom, ice baths, coach facilities and indoor and outdoor changing rooms.
