Architect
Samuel Stevenson & Sons are looking for an Architect with minimum 5 years’ experience to join our existing talented and friendly team on a range of projects in the education, healthcare, and other sectors, at varying stages of development.
The ideal candidate will have excellent design skills and will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects using BIM. The candidate will have a full knowledge of the current planning legislation and building regulations, possess strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction along with good proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. An understanding of NEC contracts would be desirable, with the ability to work on their own initiative and manage projects.

Architectural Technologist
Samuel Stevenson & Sons are looking for an Architectural Technologist with minimum 3 years’ experience to join our existing talented and friendly team on a range of projects in the education, healthcare, and other sectors, at varying stages of development.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects being developed using BIM. The candidate should be self–motivated and have a full knowledge of the current planning legislation and building regulations in Northern Ireland. We are looking for someone who will be able to produce, manage and collate full technical design packages along with good proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Job running experience would be desirable.

Project Handover – Stapolin ETNS
We are delighted to reach project handover at Stapolin Educate Together National School, Dublin 13; a 16–classroom primary school with 2–class special needs unit.
The building was delivered in partnership with OHLA and O’Hare McGovern Ltd and was handed over in August 2023.

Desirable skills include design flair and good presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible and eager to learn and develop quickly. They must have strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team. Experience of using Revit is desirable, as well as having a proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and 3D rendering skills.

Site Update from Ardnashee School & College
Fantastic progress on site by Woodvale Construction.
Structural steel erection is nearing completion, with superstructure masonry and roofing works well underway. Exciting times for all those involved in the project!

Ardnashee School & College now on site
Ardnashee School & College, for our clients the Education Authority, is being constructed by Woodvale Construction – the school will provide education facilities for 340 pupils aged 3–19 with Profound, Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties.
Enniskillen Integrated Primary School
The 7no. classroom extension to Enniskillen Integrated Primary School was recently completed by Woodvale Construction. Also provided was a new Multi Purpose Hall together with ancillary spaces.
Stapolin Educate Together National School, Baldoyle, Dublin
In collaboration with OHLA, Samuel Stevenson & Sons are a key member of the IST delivering a number of school projects in Dublin.
This project in Baldoyle is being delivered as BIM Level 2.
This project is utilising fast track construction methods including pre cast concrete wall and floor panels. Works are due for completion in July 2023.

Cat Cousins has joined us as a Part 1 student for her first year out in practice.
Luke O’Brien has re–joined us as a Part 1 student, after completing the Erasmus + scheme with Capacity Ireland in Crete for 3 months, where he worked in an architecture practice on a variety of private residential villas & industrial projects across the island.
We welcome them both to the office.
